Lab Testing, Purity & Variance
Yes. Batches are submitted for independent analysis by accredited third-party laboratories, principally Janoshik Analytical. Testing uses established laboratory methods, most commonly High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), with additional methods where a compound requires them.
Lab reports are made available so you can verify the material you received. Reports are lot-specific. Always check that the lot number on your product matches the report you are reading
Our standard is within 10% either side of the labeled amount.
A small difference between the labeled amount and the tested amount is normal and expected. As long as the result falls within that 10% margin, the batch meets our specification.
If a result falls outside it — whether under or over — the batch is out of specification. It is held and reviewed before any decision to release it.
No. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are reported as an exact purity figure rather than a band, reflecting the different analytical approach used for peptide material.
For blends — products where more than one active compound is combined — a single purity percentage is not meaningful, because the figure would describe the mixture rather than any one compound in it. Blends are assessed on identity and on the content of each component instead.
The purity grade that applies to a given product is stated on that product’s lab report.
Two separate things, which answer two different questions:
Purity — of the material in the container, how much of it is the compound itself, and how much is anything else.
Content — how much of the compound is actually there, compared with the amount printed on the label.
A batch has to pass on both. A product can be very pure but slightly under the labeled amount, or exactly the labeled amount but less pure — which is why both figures appear on the report.
It comes from the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), the organization that sets published quality standards for medicines in the US. Two of its chapters set the same ±10% expectation — a range of 90% to 110% of the labeled amount:
USP Chapter <905>, on dose uniformity, gives 90–110% of the labeled amount as the normal acceptance range.
USP Chapter <795>, on compounded preparations, gives ±10% of labeled strength for substances that have no official standard of their own.

Research compounds have no published USP standard specific to them. We have chosen to apply this pharmaceutical-grade range to our own products anyway. To be clear about what that means: it is a standard we hold ourselves to voluntarily, not one imposed on this category. We use it because it is the most rigorous published benchmark available, and because a standard you can look up yourself is worth more than one we invented.

Capsules contain very small amounts of active compound mixed into a filler. When you divide a small quantity of powder across thousands of capsules, individual capsules land slightly above or slightly below the average — the same way individual scoops from a bag never weigh precisely the same. Bulk powder, weighed in one quantity, does not have that issue.
This is expected, and the published standards allow for it. USP <905> recognizes that an individual capsule may sit further from the labeled amount — generally in the region of 85% to 115% — while the batch as a whole is still held to the 90–110% range.
The standard the batch must meet does not widen. Only the expected variation between one capsule and the next is wider.
It depends on which laboratory issued the report, and how that lab reports high-purity material.
Where a report is banded, purity is given as a range rather than a single number:
- 96%+ — the sample tested somewhere between 96% and 98%.
- 98%+ — the sample tested somewhere between 98% and 100%.
Under that format, 98%+ is the top band the standard analysis issues; there is no higher band on that scale. So a 98%+ result is not material that barely scraped past a threshold — it is the highest grade the format reports, and the actual purity sits somewhere between 98% and 100%. Narrowing it to an exact decimal takes more instrument time and cost without telling you anything you can act on. Within that format, the band is the meaningful figure.
Where a report shows an exact percentage instead — for example 99.4% — that reflects the method and reporting style of the laboratory that issued it, not a different class of material. We work with more than one accredited laboratory, including ISO-accredited partners, so both formats appear across our catalog. Read each certificate against the lot number on your product.
Mislabeling in the online research-compound market is well documented. A 2017 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association analyzed 44 products sold online as SARMs. Only 52% contained a SARM at all, and the amount stated on the label matched the amount actually present in fewer than half of the products tested.
Our response is to publish laboratory reports as they are issued, including results that come in below 100% of the labeled amount. Reported figures describe the tested batch at the time of analysis.
Because real measurements rarely are. Every physical step — synthesis, drying, weighing, blending, filling — introduces small variation, and the test instrument itself has a margin of accuracy. A result a few percent above or below the label, sitting inside the acceptance range, is what genuine lab data looks like.
We publish results as the laboratory issues them, without adjustment.

Orders containing both peptide vials and SARMs or PCT compounds may ship in separate packages with separate tracking numbers. You can also monitor order status via the Orders tab in your SwissChems account dashboard.
Address changes are accepted only while an order is still in processing status. Contact support@swisschems.is immediately to request an amendment. Once an order has been endorsed for dispatch, the shipping address cannot be modified.
SwissChems is not liable for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect address. In such cases, a one-time 20% discount on a future order is offered.
SwissChems accepts three payment methods:
Mastercard (credit and debit) — transactions will appear on bank statements under the descriptor OPTIMUS DATA. This is expected and does not indicate a fraudulent charge.

Orders containing a combination of SARMs, PCT compounds, and peptides may ship as two separate packages with two distinct tracking numbers. This is standard procedure — an incomplete-looking delivery does not indicate a fulfilment error.
If an order appears genuinely incomplete upon delivery, contact support@swisschems.is with photographs of the items received and the outer packaging showing the tracking number.
SwissChems ships to PO box and military addresses via USPS only. Carriers other than USPS cannot deliver to these address types.
Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively once an order has been submitted. The system does not permit modifications to processed transactions. The discount code remains valid and can be applied to a subsequent order.
Advance orders for out-of-stock compounds can be placed by contacting SwissChems directly — the support team can confirm restocking timelines. Alternatively, entering your email address on the relevant out-of-stock product page triggers an automatic notification when the compound becomes available.
New stock typically arrives within two weeks unless otherwise specified.
SwissChems publishes promotional codes and exclusive deals via the newsletter and on official social channels (Facebook, Instagram, X). Subscribing to the newsletter is the most reliable method for receiving discount codes as they are issued.

Returns & Refunds
SwissChems accepts returns of unopened, resealable Research SARMs, PCT compounds, and MEPs (Multi-Ester Peptides) within 7 business days of confirmed delivery.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and a return tracking number must be provided. A 15% restocking fee per product is deducted from the refund upon warehouse confirmation. Contact support@swisschems.is to initiate a return.
Contact support@swisschems.is within 7 days of delivery with: (1) a clear photograph of the item received highlighting the issue, and (2) a photograph of the outer packaging displaying the tracking number.
For orders arriving as multiple shipments, provide separate photographs for each package. Reports submitted beyond the 7-day window cannot be actioned.
Order modifications and cancellations are possible only while the order is still in processing status — contact support@swisschems.is immediately if a change is required. Once dispatched, no modifications are possible.
For orders with pending (unconfirmed) payment, cancellation can be initiated from the Orders tab in the customer dashboard. Cancellation of a paid order is processed as a refund.
Where applicable, refunds are issued to the original payment method. A $25 processing fee per transaction is deducted. Applicable restocking fees are also deducted. Banking convenience fees and shipping costs for dispatched orders are non-refundable.
Chargebacks initiated through a card issuer are treated as potential fraud events. Customers who initiate a chargeback are added to the SwissChems no-sell list.

Peptides
SwissChems research peptides are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder form. Lyophilization is standard for research-grade peptide compounds as it maximises stability and shelf life during transit and storage.
Bacteriostatic water for reconstitution is not included and must be sourced separately.
Lyophilized peptides are stable at room temperature for several days to weeks in original sealed packaging. For extended laboratory storage, 4°C (refrigerated) is recommended; long-term archival storage should use −20°C (frozen). Peptide vials must be shielded from light at all stages.
When transferring vials from frozen storage, allow equilibration to room temperature prior to opening to prevent atmospheric moisture condensation — peptides are hygroscopic and moisture uptake can compromise integrity. For multi-use experimental protocols, aliquoting minimises repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Lyophilized SwissChems peptides carry a shelf life of up to 24 months from the manufacture date when stored correctly: sealed, shielded from light, and held at −20°C (frozen) for long-term archival, or at 4°C (refrigerated) for active laboratory use.
Shelf life reduces substantially once a vial has been opened and reconstituted. The manufacture date and lot number are traceable via the COA documentation .
SARMs, nootropics, and PCT compounds in capsule or powder form carry a shelf life of up to 24 months from manufacture date when stored sealed, away from direct light, at controlled room temperature (15–25°C).
Liquid solutions should be stored at 4°C and used within 6 months of opening. SwissChems assumes no liability for degradation resulting from improper storage post-delivery.
SwissChems peptide vials are identified by stopper colour, as specified on each product page. Vials sold individually are unlabelled; identification relies on stopper colour only.
In rare instances where standard stopper colours are unavailable, an alternative colour is used — the SwissChems support team can confirm identification if required.
All SwissChems liquid and solution products contain 7% ethanol. This is consistent across the liquid formulation range.
Peptide kits and individual peptide vials are dispatched as separate consignments with separate tracking numbers — two tracking emails are issued. If only one tracking number has been received, check spam and junk folders or request confirmation from support@swisschems.is.
Peptide kits are also packed in a dedicated customs-clearance box. Any text on the outer box is specific to the customs process and does not describe the contents of the vials — disregard it. Vial identification is confirmed by stopper colour.

A SwissChems COA documents the independently verified purity of a specific compound batch, confirmed via HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) analysis at a USA-based third-party laboratory. Each COA specifies the compound name, batch identifier, purity percentage, analytical method used, and the issuing laboratory.

SwissChems quality testing extends beyond HPLC purity analysis. Each batch undergoes testing for heavy metal content and residual solvent levels as part of the standard pre-distribution quality protocol at a USA-based independent laboratory.

SwissChems guarantees the purity of all compounds. If independent HPLC testing at a licensed facility returns a result inconsistent with stated purity, SwissChems will refund: (1) the cost of the HPLC test, and (2) the full order amount including shipping.
